Hello everyone! My hard drive was in the middle of partitioning, when the electricity went out. I could not back to Windows on that hard drive. I am now unable to access any info on that hard drive through Windows, but it still picks it up. The hard drive is physically intact btw. Will I be able to access the data if I purchase an external HDD enclosure? Or just a SATA to USB adapter? I really need to access this hard drive with 320GB of valuable data.. HELP!

If the drive is physically intact, you more than likely have the logical data loss. Try connecting it to the computer and copy off your data ASAP. If you can't see any of your data after connecting your drive to the computer, then run some logical recovery software. It should start about $80 and up and it should get your files back!!!

Or take it to the local computer shop and see if they can help you with the logical recovery. It should be around $150 - $300 for the logical recovery fee depend on where you are located.

Were you able to connect your drive to the desktop computer via Native SATA??? If your data is available, you should be able to just copy them out ASAP...

If not, use the logical recovery software... You have to buy them but if it works, it will be cheaper than the repair shop. (DO NOT INSTALL the recovery software on the hard drive you are trying to recover data from. Buy another hard drive same or bigger than the damaged drive and make an exact copy and work from the copy if your data is important)
