Maxtor DiamondMax 10

I got in a Maxtor DiamondMax 10 Model 6L200M0 200GB Sata drive
Code BANC1G10 .. Bios doesn't see the drive , but Victoria sees it as
Maxtor Sabre BANC2Gxx ( I forgot the last digits, but they are
different than label) Victoria doesn't see serial number , and the LBA shows 0
When powering on the drive it "sings " to me .. A light beeping tone/noise ,
then the noise quits after a few seconds.
I don't have PC3000 .. so could this be a PCB problem , and if so ,
What do I need to match to make it work?

Thanks in advance
Steve

it is spindle seized up causing voice coil to generate magnetic field and vibrates the HGA, that's what you hear...star trek laser gun noise...you need a proff data recovery people to do platter exchange, very risky
