Hello all people

Again, me :)

Now working with a Maxtor Sabre 6B300S0 to DR, with burned spindle controller, now was solved and its detected by BIOS, all Ok, even check SA structure and no have any problem,on modules, but this is from a MAC HFS File system, im try to put on PC directly but when the programs was analying the HFS showing errors on some sectors, so i did a image to another hdd, the problem its this HDD have the 3% of full sectors with UNC, and some AMNF errors, i can get the rest of fsector 97% but cant get the HFS partition, does any one know the way to get this sectors, some people said me its a media corruption on this family, wich is u experience when u has worked with this family . Im tried the CRC igonring, but happens when u tel the command to the HDD read this 3% the heads begins to read, but looks like a hang when try to read this zone because if u try to read another sectors dont get anymore sector, so i need to turn off and turn on again, and read another zone, and get the sectors with anyproblem

Thanks for all help

Sinceraly

Allberto

Hello Alberto,

Have you tried a Reverse clone?
Also you could maybe rewrite the parition in Winhex or any other Hex editor.
