September 30th, 2007, 10:45

Hello.I really need your help.Recently i had a problem with my hard drive and when i loged into windows it didn't show the hard drive.after 2-3 reboors in windows the problem was still there and the next time i tried to log on to windows it didn't loged in. I tried to use windows cd to repair the problem(at least with my drive with windows in it) but nothing happened. It just showed me my windows hard drive being one whole drive although i had it partitioned in 2(150gb and 40gb).I tried to use mmhdd and erased the mrb on all the hard drives and still when i try to install windows it shows it as one drive unpartitioned and next to it says mrb.Can you help me?Is there any programs that can help me restore windows? I have really importand stuff in there.

Hi,

In case U have important stuff there as U said, U should not attempt install anything on that drive.
I would first try to image the drive in DOS to a known good one, then install windows on another good drive and try to logically recover the important stuff from the image.
I know all this do not sound simple, but if U want your stuff back....
BTW if U really really really want your important stuff back, U'd better take it to a specialist.
sorry to say that.

regards,
pepe
