After disabling zones on maxtor drives with pc3k pci the size does not change by its own do u have to do it manually or is there anything else i have to do after that .

Hi Rameez,
Even Your theory on quantum zone disabling is not Correct .The Drive does not change its LBA automatically as you said in the other post .I had to Manually Do the same . I Have Still Not Graduated To Maxtor BS Repairing .

It does maybe u have made any mistake , in the zone disabling procedure . I have done about hundreds of these qauntam drives , even today i did about 5 of them cutting there zones .
