Cost of PC-3000 UDMA in Australia

October 3rd, 2007, 13:57

Hi,

I have received a quote from Ace Labs for the PC-3000 UDMA, has anybody else purchased one recently within Australia?

The quote i was given was in EUROS for PC-3000 UDMA + Data Extractor for about $5000 EUROS. I'm sure others must be buying it cheaper, i wanted some room to negotiate - anybody got a cheaper price?

I am wanting to buy 2 of these.

go Ahead don't waste time. its really a good price. In India we also pay this 5000 euros + local custom duty extra.

As euro is going higher I would suggest u to get it soon.

ACE don't negotiate on single piece.

I am from India

In CIS countries you can get PC3000 UDMA versions as follows :

PC3000 Windows UDMA US$ 1 364.00 - Retail price.
PC3000 Windows UDMA DE US$ 1 003.00 - Retail price.

Obviously this how aunty ACE values her product.

It seems Ace doesn't give much support anyway. If someone could get the English version for ~$3000, they could make some money reselling them for ~$4000, still much cheaper than $12000 they charge in the US.

Thanks all, i'll just have to pay what's quoted - i figures there was a variation in prices offered to small or large data recovery firms.

Hi there,
The variations is depending more how the economical situation is in the country you are order from, rather then how small or large the recovery company is.
The better it is economical, the higher the price for pc3000 it going to be....kind of fair I'll think.
