i used Pc 3000 to write data into module ID of new Hdd. After that i reset hdd, serial number and model display wrongly on Pc3000. you can see data at attach file when i read Module ID.
i write data which contain old serial and model into module ID again, after that i reset HDD again, serial and model still display wrongly on Pc 3000.
Serial and model will be always displayed:
serial:WDC-ROM SN#XYZ
model:WDC ROM MODEL--SABRE---

Please tell me ways to recover old serial and model!!

thanks,
muoimuoi

Before "recovering S/N" you should fix your drive first.
In your case it's either ROM is not original or some overlays in SA are corrupted. After you fix your drive S/N will show up correctly.
