Recently my Lacie HD wouldn't appear on the Desktop, but Would appear in Disc Utilites.
When I tried to "repair" it reported the error "failure to repair due to failure to exit".
I attempted Disk Warrior, but it wouldn't recognize the drive. I recovered the contents of the drive to another external drive, but the Data was in like-files, that is to say, it did not recover them asthe data that they were saved as. They were grouped as "mp3" or "jpeg" etc.
I was hoping there was something I could do (before erasing or reformatting my drive) to repair the drive or recover the data.
