Hi,

I have here a Seagate ST3320820A with damaged PCB, some chips get really hot.
But I can only find in a supplier a ST3320820AS PCB with same firmware.

Anyone has already tested to check if it's possible to make sata pcb compatible with pata?

Thanks.

I did use a Seagate sata board on an occasion to recover a pata drive, and in my case it worked.

I only have same firmware version, but not same P/N.
Well, I'll try and let you know something.
