Hey mates.......

I have got an interesting case of a Samsung Palo SP0802N with f/w TK100-24 (TK24f). This drive has become a kind of "Read Only". It shows partitions and everything seems to be ok. Logical scanning with MHDD and all other tools just goes smoothly. Even, writing job is shown perfect, but it doesn't write anything "actually". No matter, what thing you use to write, will get the same result. I tried Zero Filling, Security Erase, Manually edit sectors via hex but all the things are just fixed. Nothing can be changed.
SA has no defects neither any head. No module shows any problem or any read error. I have checked all the modules, everything is fine.
Also, I thought, it may be because of currupted ROM or PCB, so I re-write the ROM but nothing changed then I swapped the whole PCB with a compatible one. But, the problem remains same.

So, my final guess is, there is some sort of "Read Only" function in those Samsungs. As, I know that where it resides on Seagates and how to enable and disable it, but no idea about Samsungs. So, A modules uploading should work now. If anybody has modules for This drive, please upload it in files section or give me directly.

Any ideas or help is welcome........
