i need to replace a head on a 2.5 inch hitachi travelstar model no IC25N030ATMR04-0 the other numbers on the sticker are
08K2811 ans H69541.
i am sourcing a drive with the same model no as above but different numbers on the sticker, however the first sets of 08K and H6 are the same, will this be sufficent to match the head? i have had a look at the guide but just need confirmation about this?
as a 2nd question this is a single platter drive can i replace the platter or am i better to repalce the head? i think there will be no alignment as it is a single platter and so am thinking of moving platters?
when the head is replaced will i need to replace the rom chip or board with it ?
