i thought that this might be useful , so i thought i would post it here
the hard drives of the xbox1 console might be useful as a pc hard drive ,but to be able to make it useful you have to unlock it , and those are the master passwords that are used mostly ,
for western digital 8 GB hdd WD80EB use the password "WDCWDCWDCWDCWDCWDCWDCWDCWDCWDCWD"

i havent tested this my self but i saw a lot of posts about success of using it
for seagate hdd's 10GB with white big sticker ST310014ACE
"seagate "yes ,25 spaces after the word
and its said that the word "seagate" alone works for some model
some utilities modify the password to another uses
"XBOXSCENE"
"TEAMASSEMBLY"

those are all i know , if any one knows any other one's please post them here

This password works for all Maxtor drives

"Maxtor INIT SECURITY TEST STEP F"

This password works for all wd drives not just wd80eb :

"WDCWDCWDCWDCWDCWDCWDCWDCWDCWDCWD"

If the hd was locked using configmagic or xenium os or x3 os, then you can use a pc app called atapwd to unlock it using the masterpw of "TEAMASSEMBLY"

both incorrect, the password and the assumption

Yes
The password is close but not exactly how it should be
The assumption is wrong (check Athena drive for example)
