I'm searching for someone who's able to repair my Maxtor harddisk.

Problem: since a few days harddisk is recognised only by its factory alias "ARES C64K"

Harddisk:
Maxtor Fireball 3 ATA/133 HDD 40GB
Code: VAM51JJ0
SN: 2F040L07106A2
LBA: 80293248
Date: 02MAR2004

Format: HFS+ Journaled (Mac OSX 10.4.11)

Possible Diagnoses:

It seems to me the SA of my drive is damaged, caused by P-LIST or G-LIST corruption
as described here: "http://www.dataclinic.co.uk/maxtor-glist-corruption.htm"

Needs:

I would try to repair it by myself if I would own a WinPC and software like HDD Firmware Repairer 2.0 PRO, HDD Doctor for Maxtor, Maxtor Firmware Repairer PRO or PC-3000.

I could recover the data with "Data-Rescue II" if I had reading access to the drive.

So is there someone which can do that for an acceptable prize?

Offers are welcome.

Thanks in advance.
