Firmware for WD800EB-00DJF0

October 13th, 2007, 16:11

Hello,

I am looking for a copy of the firmware in Salvation Data format for the WD Drive WD800EB-00DJF0. Salvation WD Doctor is reporting a 2F Module-0 Head Length CRC Error on Primary and Secondary. I would like to try uploading a good copy of this module, unless someone has another suggestion.

We are also willing to trade or provide firmware from our rapidly growing database. We have firmware (currently in Salvation format and soon in PC3K also) from many new drives. We have partnered with a large local computer shop and part of the deal is that we can download the firmware from all the new drives that come in to the shop.

Thanks

if you have PC3000 use the header & checksum repair utility in WD. The header is likely reading 20 or something like that .
