I have an WD1600JD-98HBB0, and there are some bad sectors in the first 30GB of the drive, I've tried to partition the drive in some way to avoid this sectors to be used and use the rest of the drive. It works a while but for some reason windows opens very slow the drive...
So I decide to try to repair this bas sectors.
First I used MHDD to erase the drive - bad sectors still remained
HDD regenerator used: has found bad sectors some repaired and then stopped .... so I've waited for 2 hours and then rebooted the PC
Then I scanned it with MHDD and to my surprise I have found more bad sectors then before. I've decided to make a full erase.. in result I have the same situation as before HDD regenerator.
Then I tried to make a remap ... when the sequence arrived to bad sectors the drive have spined down and then spined up and as result the bad sector remain bad sector :(

by saying bad sector I mean UNC in MHDD.

Is there a way to repair this bad sectors? ... or maybe a way to cut the beginning of drive?
