HTS421 recovery options.

Do anyone know if HTS541 heads are compatible with HTS421?

Well, I have a knocking HTS421 80Gb

Had a 80Gb donor, but head config was different

0,1,2 vs 1,2,3

So, I had a 100Gb HTS541

4 heads, so put those heads in.

No knocking, just spin up and straight to DRDY RSC

but no ID

Like it has bad NVRAM

Do we think, if the heads were bad or incompatible, the drive would knock still?
