Yesterday evening Maxtor emitted strange sounds,
several and repetetive clicks that stopped the normal
work of pc for minutes.
After some reboots, seemed the problem gone away
and SeaTools said that drive was ok .....
Yes I know .... I have to backup the same and at once
my data or better, change the drive.

But for my curiosity is there a list of downloadable sounds
to learn better the exact problem ?

No, I think no one has that, but even same sound can be caused by different problems, so it would be of much help.
