hello all;
First I want to say that Im new to this whole HDD repair/recovery.
Im trying to repair several Seagate barracuda 7200.7 160 Gbytes HD.
I currently own the HD Doctor for Seagate, On this particular HD; parameters such as LBA,S/N,P/N, and model number are not coming out when conected to the software, on the other hand other parameters such as HDD info{ HDD Series, PCB ROM, EngRev, CERT Rev, CERT CRC}, and HDD parameters{Read Cache, Write Cache, Start track of SA} are seen by the software.
A few days ago I also downloaded the terminal for seagate article ( not as easy to understand as it looks) which I think is a good tool nevertheless.
I went to the SA Scan and Repair tab and clicked on CHK FW, and this came out:

One of the software's tab lets you upload Modulus to the HD (for example the CERT, CERT-TAB, among others) and I did that; but the problem persisted.
Then I went to the Other Operation tab and checked on the CMD and I tried to punch a random command expl:^C and it said: Command inactive-No VALID Cert Code Detected.
Any one knows how can add those parameters to the drive?, and how to fix that overlay problem.
thanks
