My old seagate 7200.11 ST3500320AS 500GB- Disappearance

My old seagate 7200.11 ST3500320AS 500GB disappear after 3 minutes. On booting, i can see WINxp booting but after that rebooting to show " THERE IS NO BOOT DRIVE"

What could be the problem? What is the remedy. Data NOT important.

Problem is that someone purchased a Seagate drive. This happens quite often but has an easy solution. The remedy is to throw out the Seagate and buy something other than a Seagate. Hope that helps.

Very likely your drive has bad clusters and probably also weak heads.
To find out if your drive has these phisical issues, you might scan surface with MHDD tool.
