Hi,

I think, you are on the wrong way.

If your skill is good enough, and you know what to do with the pinout, than you can read out what you looking for from the pcb pads and wires. ;)

There is no datasheet.
It is top secret everywhere.

Janos

Hi,
Thanx N.C.
I supposed so, that the datasheets are top secret. Anyway, all I need is pin description for these DiamondMax series.
Sorry, I'm quotha tired for searching for these pinouts, can anybody give me link (or send files) for these pcb pads and wires.

Thank you!!!!

Ints

It's not 'top' secret but I don't share. If someone want to be personally trained about the signals, hw diagnose and structure and troubleshooting PM me. Not FREE.

hi the problem is that no one wants to share any data sheets.

i shared before and get nothing back
which sucks.

we have schematics of mostly well known hard drives that are not open to the public.
and nope they are not on the net anywhere :(
it cost $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

may be i offer them on ebay for sale ;)

The same feeling, a sort of dejavu... and BTW when I asked for simpler questions I had no reply and I know there was a known solution - I worked it around by myself as usual anyway. Sharing doesn't kill the growing of knowledge, greed and bad attitude do. I agree with you craig, and as I do run a business I can give all the training people need but not for free.

Hi!
First of all - thanx to all, who replied.
I have the same problem with TV and other electronics datasheets, memory dumps, service modes e.t.c., - I shared before too and get nothing back, so I really understand you all. I don't want to buy these PCB datasheets - I can only make exchange with my datasheets (private).
I experiment with these Maxtor HDDs only for fun (nothing else to do in free time) - so if I didn't find pinouts (datasheets) (all I want is only pin descriptions), I will throw these HDDs from n-th floor (these HDDs are not so important to me (important data e.t.c)).
