i try to describe with most simple way my problem.
i have one WD80JB-00ETA0 with no ready status, the drive try to spin for 6 times and after the platters motor stop.
the first think who i make is to change the PCBA and now the motor spin regularly, but it is not stay ready...
i can heard one noise from the heads like metal skimming...
i think the next step is to swap heads from a donnor drive (some people say the dcm no must be exactly the same and other is not necessary) but i use the donnor with same dcm no.
the results is now the drive begin stay ready and when i try to run the WD utility on Service Area i have :the drive is not ready and the others errors...
what i think next is to make hot swap from the working donnor to patient drive but i have the same symptom !
next step it is to look with microscope the platter but nothing strange looks like there. is very clean
step 5 i think , i start the drive on safe mode and i disable the head 1 trying only to use the 0.
the same thing , stay ready the motor continue working but no access to SA area.
i need only the data ..

sorry for my basic English ,any advice is welcome
please help , !
