On a related note, I'd like to buy some surgical tools. You know, scalpels, stethescopes, etc. I'm thinking of being a doctor. Can anyone hook me up?

hi datacare, take it easy. they just want to tell you a truth.

whether the data can be recovery is depended on the technician not the tools.

Most good hardware stores should sell all the tools you need.

You mean hammer, saw, drill, can opener? Or now they have the "technicians" dept. (desperate housewives, alert! :P) LOL

I am not an lay man like you. I am an data recovery technician.

@datacare,

If you are a DR tech then it seems strange you have never heard of PC3K or SD or even HRT tools as they are available on the market since many years.
If you have the legit tools you have all the legit support and all the legit documentation - not everything is covered, so maybe someone here can help you about specific issue or problem.
If you want to get trained in using PC3K or data recovery, speak up. IT'S NOT FREE (for me).
I (and most probably anyone here) can not solve your issues or do the job for you. It's not the purpose of the forum , or maybe you're in the wrong place.

If you want any info. about PC3K products, some people here are authorized resellers of ACE products, so speak up and they will be glad to help you and maybe give you all the info. you need.

Am I right ?

Regards.

I disagree. The tools are quite necessary. The technician's person would be insufficient to perform data recovery without the aid of a tool.

This is similar to an eye technician performing corrective eye surgery on two identical patients, one he uses a very precise operating laser while on the other he scratches the eyes with his fingernails. It is expected that a same technician with the tool (operating laser) should be able to better perform an operation than without the aid of other instruments (fingernails).

If I had a choice between going to the world's best Eye Doctor, who had no tools whatsoever, or to the idiot who stole all his equipment, and set up shop with a big handwritten sign saying "Laser Surgery : $19.95", I'd go to the real Doctor without a second thought. Yes, tools are important, but are completely worthless without the most important tool you have..... The one between your ears.

So, any of you want to help me out? This week, I want to be a Eye Doctor. Does anyone know how to use a laser pointer to do a 'Cornea Swap?'. And where am I finding donors?

And why isn't anyone answering me? I posted this a whole 7 minutes ago.

Because laser pointers can't be emule'd. You gave me an idea...

@datacare, why not contacting ace reseller near you and ask for a demo at your location? Only you can tell.

Datacare,

You always talk about the tools.
I want to kow how much you know in this field?
You need to promote your knowledge at the same time when you are searching for tools.
Professional knowledge in this field in essential.

I have 3 years experience in computer service and last 4 years i am doing data recovery
service. Now I can recover the data through softwares, that's logical case only i can
do it. In physical case(Clicking noise or dead) I don't know what to do

Re: Data Recovery tools

August 5th, 2008, 8:37

This is quite clear. Well, tools available on the market today are ACE (PC3000 ISA / PCI / UDMA) , HRT and SalvationData. DeepSpar (ACE) has HW solution for imaging drives and data extraction. Why didn't you explain some posts ago ?
Anyway, before buying (all these equipments are very expensive, especially ACE, anyway you can find used for a lower price) have a demo - not a demo version of the software , a live demo. The local reseller(s) probably would be glad to assist you.

P.S. I am currently searching for user manual of Space Shuttle, I bought a china clone but it came with all the manuals in chinese, so it's a little messy. Doing some emule search I found the manuals but they are 122,342 GB. in PDF format and I am too lazy, also my connection is a little slow so maybe the one of you who have them (AND I KNOW YOU HAVE THEM ) please upload to RapidShare, thank you.
