Hi All,

I've a WD800JD-08LSA0, 80GB drive.
The disk spins fine.
Clicks for few times, then normal, then Clicks for few times, then normal,......
Detecting in the BIOS as 6GB.

Looks like FW issue. I'm yet to analyze the FW.
Looks like a familiar problem with this model, as I've seen a same model same problem disk earlier.

Anybody faced similar problem before?

Hi All,

Did anybody experienced a similar problem before ?

Anyway, I'm getting my SalvationData's HD Doctor for WD in a couple of days time. I will definitely post the report here & take your advices.
