Hello,

I have one corrupted 1F in 6E020L drive.
If this module is in at the UBA 8, the drive discard it, and use the second copy instead.
If both copy is this module, the drive comes up 6159Z.

If i try to use another 1F, the drive don't want to read from anywhere, so i need to fix the own 1F.

e mail: janos.haar at netcenter.hu

Thanks

Janos

From what I can see the module has incorrect checksum....You should open the module in hex editor and calculate the checksum then write to hdd............

i have already seen the module in hex editor, but i don't know, how to calculate the checksum.
I am not sure, but the module is corrupted by the hddrepair, but anyway, can't fix it back.
Unfortunately i have no backup from the original version. :(
(this was my first meet with hddrepair, some months before.... )

Do you know, how to calculate the checksum?

Thanks,
Janos
