 Post subject: WD Green SSD (240GB) not recognized

Hello!
I work at A university and they are replacing some faulty SSDs from WD. There is a lot of them, 55 to be exact. They are not recognized in BIOS, but if I short JP1, they are shown as Sandisk Milpitas, and lsblk gives me a 16Kb partition (maybe just the firmware controller). Is there something I can try to revive them?

You can try to recover your data via ChipOff using Flash Extractor or VNR Rusolut, however, none of the tools have official support for this version of the controller.:

No, this model is not supported by any tool. Only 20-82-00469 controller is supported.

I wrote that version A101-00125-B0 has no official support, which does not mean that someone who knows how to use the above tools is not able to recover data from it.
