Data Traveler 8GB with Data Error

November 18th, 2008, 12:53

Hi there, I have a 8gb Data Traveler, but the data I copy, sometimes become rare characters, or says is corrupt, usually this happens with a short time past. I have been formatted, with every tool I found, all the cases. But the problem keeps going and I can't format to NTFS.
Also the OS recognized the flash as AMECO 2.0, instead a Data Traveler.
I dont know what to do anymore, but to put in to the floor and crush it....

Please help me

Maybe a fake 8GB stick? There are a lot of memory sticks which advetise as a certain capacity, but are actually only a small fraction of that in actual reality.

How long have you had this stick?
