Does anyone know the specs for Samsung K9HCG08U1M (4G) like the page size, block size. etc
I tried PC3000 Flash but it detected as wrong memory type.
Original memory is Samsung K9HCG08U1M , detected as K9LBG08U0M
This is of Transcend USB flash drive:
ALCOR Mircro, AU6984 A53-MHL-GR, A9688601F, 0820.
Managed to read the memory but "wrong signature" therefore no data is visible.
Thank you.

Hi,
I couldn't find a datasheet, but the page size, block size etc. for that chip, are shown on the last line on page 2 of this small PDF:
ftp://ftp.ingenic.cn/6an/Support%20Memory%20Chip_0810.pdfi.e. block size = 512kB+16kB and page size = 4kB+128 = 4224
Hope that helps...

Thank's Vulcan
I am trying to add this NAND to PC3000 Flash known memory database to see if it works, but i am a little doubtful whether the lost partition/file structures are caused by "joining error" or it could be wrong identification of the memory.
This K9HCG08U1M is a single chip with 2 layers, 4G each. Total 8G.
Please see the attached pictures.

When you say "no data is visible" you mean with the stick or with PC3000 ?
The problem can be likely corrupted configuration in the AU controller... either you fix the stick and read the memory with working stick AND correct controller config. OR try to make PC3000 handle your chip...

not visible in pc3000, tried with working stick, no luck.
Patient: ALCOR Mircro, AU6984 A53-MHL-GR, A9688601F, 0820.
Donor: ALCOR Mircro, AU6984 A53-MHL-GR, A9558801F, 0220.

Terranova,
The trouble is not in the chip spec. It was read successfully.
Now you have to find the way how to join dumps correctly and apply AU algorithm in the PC3K Flash. This controller has mix by blocks plus mix between banks.

Thanks Creator, i am finding the right join dumps, will let you know the results.

Thanks Creator Data Recovered 100%, it was the mix NAND with the right joins from dump.
