sd movie problem please help recover !

Well i was making a movie clip on my insignia cam i used a sd card , but while picking up my cam when done i accidently hit the power button, well this caused the file that had been recorded to not be tagged or labled so i ave a card that shows 556 meg used but has no files on it. so i know the data it recorded is there but i have no way to access and name it so i can label it as an avi and use it. i have used a few data recovery files but the file wasnt labeled so theres nothing to recover even though the card shows the memory has obviously been used. please help is there someway to go in idntify the recorded data and label it so i can continue the recovery proccess?

What kind of movie format does it record, quicktime (.mov) ?
There is a toll for mac (dont remember the name) for editing data structure of QT movies.
Probably the camera haven't finalized the movie, so it's invisible and you have to add it.
