2g USB pen drive "not recognised"

February 27th, 2010, 5:51

My 2g flash drive has been munged!

- Windows does see a usb-device but gives a "Code 10" .. not recognised
- Linux lsusb and udev report the stick, but does not give it a /dev/sda node.

The blue LED blinks normally, I am stumped.

here the gory details:

I'd be stoked if anyone helps rescue the day ...

That would be marvellous, but I can't get at it until April... I'll set myself a alarm and email you then. MERCI
