Unable to low-format USB drive

March 14th, 2010, 8:29

I used ubuntu startup USB disk creator to make a bootable USB drive. But it completely messed up my Transcend JF V60 4GB usb drive. Now it show that capacity is 5MB and I tried hddguru utility for low-format but it shows that usb drive has to have at least 65536 blocks. Can somebody help me if you need more info just ask me :)

Transcend has a website and program to use with this. Normally when you buy this drive it comes with a CD. I did this for my nephew when he screwed up his. Works to get it back

Transcend is a brand usb pen drive they have them here on the islands and sold everyday here. I know it comes with a program to regulate it and fix it if you do run into problems. But considering this guy only came here once and never posted again after all this time he must of tried the cd that came with his usb drive.

Unfortunately i think that my USB didn't have any CD or I have lost it because i bought this USB 2 years ago. I used it quite a lot so one number is missing on the serial number and i cant download the software from the manufacture website either.
