Hi all,
I am looking for a fair quote for this DOK recovery:
On the data chip:
SanDisk

So I guess that you out of the game?

That controller does in fact encrypt the data.
Scorpion, judging by your previous posts about cracking bitlocker, you really don't understand what encryption is and how it works do you?

Nope, you cann't judge only by my previous post.
It is known that bitlocker cann't be crack and yet it is nice to have more opinions about that..
For the DOK case it is only the experience to know what encrypted. that experience I still lack of.

Confirmed.
This is indeed an encrypting controller.

SanDisk chips use unique encryption
it makes you wonder why they do this in the first place ??????????

So then they can advertise on their website things like "Protected Access - Your private files are protected by a personal password and automatically encrypted using 128-bit AES encryption"
http://www.sandisk.com/misc/secure-access

so it looks like some hackers have cracked the encrypted on sandisk and kingston by sending a simple command
to the chip
and then they can see all the files on the pen with out inputting the password
but of course sandisk told all clients to update there driver pen software
as they says its a security leak doh
