Hi,
a little more info pls? What changes do you want to make.. what is your drive? advice would be to buy another the same as a tester if it is cheap enough.
What you can do is make sure you have all data off it firstly.
put in the drive, start the software and click "scan usb" and write down everything you see. nothing is written at this point. make sure you also look at the setting button, as this has more details. the password is usually "320" or you can find it as a hard coded string with a hex editor.
after you click "start" then the settings you chose will be written. you will probably need the firmware files that are listed in the settings tab...
I have not really used the software, but looking at it, I am fairly confident of what Ive said, others may chime in and correct me, but I don't expect you to get much help really.. maybe Im becoming jaded at the DR "scene"

good luck, and I would love to hear your results.
cheers
