Hi Guys
I have iPhone 4S looping in recovery mode data is needed, i have tried tinyumbrella, blackra1n, recboot, rebootme, all failed.
The iphone just wont exit the recovery mode, data is needed that's why i cant afford to factory restore it from itunes, iphone has not been synced for a while.
Phone is not JailBroken and firmware 6.X
Any clues thank you.

hmmm very weird i wonder if something is wrong with the internal ram
or a person tried to jail break it and did not let it finish
when you turn the phone on is there any icons itunes symbol to connect or is this blank
try evasion it works with all iphones never failed us yet and is the best one
http://evasi0n.com/if that does not work try Sn0wbreeze this will get it out of recovery mode.
http://www.iphonehacks.com/jailbreakif all fails not sure what else.
but the firmware has crashed or been removed

also another tool which should really work for you is the
iREB Tool select the mode recovery loop
give this a try first

Thanks again Craig tried them all, didnt have any luck. I suspect some faulty hardware too.

what error did you get when you tried to take it out of recovery.
for sure if you connect it backup to itunes it would redo the firmware
but your lose all your data.

I don't think even iTunes will fix this one. Had a similar issue with a 4S, tried all of the above and no luck, ended up sending it to Apple, Apple replaced it saying it was hardware failure.

ok i tried it with my iphone load up a custom firmware then half way throu i stopped it
when i reboot comes up recovery mode in a loop.
i then used iREB Tool to fix the reboot
and it works again fine
load up itunes everything is ok
so looks like for sure possible a ssd at fault.

the iphone firmware could be badly damaged but with out installing firmware there no really way to tell or one of the nand based flash memory has failed
have you tried any mobile forensic software this might work for you or get your data
MOBILedit Forensic or oxygen-forensic
we use MOBILedit Forensic which have had good results for us
also might be worth download a free trail of this program as this does work with crashed iphones
http://www.wondershare.com/disk-utility ... -mode.htmlother then that im not sure what else you could try.

Thank you Craig, i have tried them all with the same result, i think its a hardware issue, going to return this to customer to get a replacement. Thanks again.

Hello Guys,
I don't want to interact to TerraNova's post, just want to ask if all of this described processes are deleting user data - Photos, etc.
I assume Firmware and data storage are separated?
Regards

Yes data storage and firmware are separated. But all these tools are written by many people, developers, hackers, hobbyists etc, so you really don't know exactly what the flashing is going to do. Little or no documentation makes this even more of an issue.
The same idea for DIY Hard disk repair is applicable, if you absolutely need user data, you will need to find a pro with the good tools, a "Ferarri" not a Kia..
for this case, definitely a hardware issue, as some of these tools rely on no code from the iPhone, ruling out a bad bit of code on the phone that is stopping it.
