IMHO better way is modify adapter to standard ZIF48 socket. It is the most reliable and handy solution.

Lots of changes are in PC3000 Flash ver 3.0 than ver 2.0. Some of them I mention in here
i) Added Algorithms
ii) Improvements in Algorithms
iii) Implemented System of Block Version
iv) Added ECC (Error correction code) fully automated mode.

I should have my v3.0 upgrade in the next couple of days, if not today. My v2.0 got fried when my SC adapter blew up and caused a surge. Grrrr! As the software is the exact same, I don't expect any difference there, I am just hoping that it will be a little more flexible in connecting various types of flash modules.

I certainly would love to see a BGA100 adapter to make a lot easier.

I'm waiting for version of reader that can manage the power voltage for chips. Now these options are not active in software ;)
