riff box question

Hi, I want to ask if anyone uses the riff box to recover data from cell phones and like them is proving to recover data from cell phones?

I also read that from android 4.0 functionality is available full-disk encryption fde, I do not understand and want to ask if generated a dump of internal memory with a tool like the riff box is going to be encrypted or just going be encrypted if the current user functionality?

It will be encrypted only if user enable that feature on Android OS.
