Hi,
I have almost as same problem as in
https://forum.hddguru.com/viewtopic.php?t=23643&start=I have cloned a CF disk. The cloned disk boots on Windows XP Embedded, but doenst show the D:, or the d partition . The D partition has the data which are needed for an installlation. After booting, the D drive doesnt how up.
I had plugged the CF card using a card reader and on using disk internals research - it does show up that the D drive is present, but while booting it in the original systeme of windows xp embedded it doesnt show up.
Can someone please help me with it.

What is the brand and model?

Sandik Extreme III
Compact Flash
20MB/s
2GB
I read through certain forum that the brand and model will be a problem, but this disk was working fine in a display unit, which it was plugged in. I also have the same disk that is in another display from which I cloned it- and had put it in the above and isnt showing up the d drive partition.

Try SanDisk's ATCFWCHG tool to convert your CF card from "removable" to "fixed".

To be honest - It seems atcfwchg.com, its quite complicated.
I am able to boot to Windows XP Embedded, but is there anything that I could do from windows to enable the partition.
I am searching google and couldnt get the tool. Is there any instruction that could be given to make the D: drive partition active.
