questions about IDE to SD card adaptors for vintage computer

I have read that using a SD card for a hard drive in a DOS based system is not bad because DOS doesnt write as much data constantly.

I also have read that an SD card may or may not be as suitable for a Windows 3.11, Windows 95 or 98 system. Can anyone explain to me why this is?

Also is it even worth it in the first place to replace a IDE hard drive with a SD card?

Alright so, I tried logging my account into Ps4 but when I press the “Sign in with a Microsoft Account” it says that it failed to log in and something went wrong. I restarted the console, and the game I got no idea what to do :/192.168.0.1 routerlogin 192.168.l.l
