FE / VNR / PC3K flash

October 23rd, 2020, 18:02

Hello guys,

I'm having some free time and I wanna dwelve into flash chip-off recovery.

Budget is not an issue but I would lime to choose only one tool.

I've done some basic work with FE but other than that I have no experience.

PC3K pleases me due to the Spider board, which would be awesome for dumping and outsource some SD's.

By any chance is there any adapter for FE or VNR like spider board?

What about a solution database, wich product has the most / more regularly updated database?

Any inputs are welcome.

Hey DRUG,

If you must choose one, then it should certainly be a tool that supports GPU ECC correction feature since you're into mining/BTC :D :D (and tons of other features including research features!).
Just kidding, I'm the most biased person you can find to suggest :)

You also should consider reading up on how certain companies e.g. ^^^ treat their customers. Google "rusolut vnr review" and you'll see what I'm referring to.

I personally recommend you start with PC-3000 Flash. Their support is second to none and they stand behind their products.

Hey,

I've done it and even without your review I've talked with another person in a similar situation.

However thats not the main reason for me to be more leaning towards pc3k. I do really believe that VNR must be the best tool overall (if well used), I'm just not that experienced.

Yeah, I guess I'll be going for pc3k and perhaps I'll also find some studying material and test cases for the first months.
