Good morning,
i hope someone can help me.
I have several toshiba ssds which have a ata password and security maximum setting.
Toshiba:
THNSNJ256GCSY PS
FW: JYPS0101
12OCT2017
Now i like to erase this ssds, but without the master password it is not possible.
The data on the ssd is not important for me, so we can erase it.
I dont know the user password und not the master password.
Hdparm show us code = 65534, which meens, the vendor (toshiba) set the master password.
Every time with hdparm or other tools, we get input / ouput error while writing to the ssd.
Does someone have a solution for us?
Does someone know the master passwort from toshiba ssds?
We even tried the 32 blank password.
So maybe we write the password wrong inside hdparm, or the password is something else.
Big thanks for help
Bye
