6998sn case

April 12th, 2023, 14:29

Hello to every one and thanks to read

This week I received an au6998sn, I am using the tool from rusolut, I found the ecc and the xor, I am reading an article from the rusolut blog called "Alcor Micro(AU) controllers - Peculiarities of data recovery", which by the way was very useful, but i the last steps to build the translator the article say "LBN step should be changed from 1/1 to 10/1" I don't understand why I must do that, another thing that got me thinking is almost all blocks are repeated I must by hand deselected all repeated blocks, I don't have problem to do it, but I believe must be a better way to do it the SA area it's so small that it can't hold much information. I am going to attach an image which exemplify this last thing I say.

thanks Very much and my best regards
