SD Card sandisk 64gb no operation can be performed

October 5th, 2024, 13:46

Hello, I have a problem with a Sandisk Ultra 64GB memory card. The problem with the card appeared when I wanted to format it in the PSP console. The console refused to format it so I manually formatted it using the Fat32Formatter program. I recorded the files and placed it in the console. The console recognized it, but when I tried to run anything from the card, the console froze, so I decided to format it again and since then I can't do anything with it. The card is detected in the system, it shows good capacity, but I can't do anything with it since then. I format it, delete files, copy files, but after each disconnection from the PC it returns to its previous state. Formatting using Fat32Formatter, Windows, and other programs is not done correctly, but after disconnecting and connecting the card still has the files that I recorded earlier. .The testdisk program displays the following message: "extrapolated boot sector and current boot sector are different. warning: extrapolated boot sector have incorrect values."

Just format your card in Linux.

You can try but it sounds like a card that switched read-only at firmware level.
