LDPC SD Recovery

I have an SD card which uses LDPC ECC. It just stopped working whilst inside my Sony camera and I've been told that the controller seems to have failed. A friend in Canada said that HDDGuru is the only one who knows how to do a recovery (because of the LDPC). Might you be able to advise on what might be possible (and possible cost)? Thank you so much for considering!

I have seen Michal (Arvika) say that even if you "cracked" LDPC there's a good chance you'd be dealing with an encrypting controller.
