Request: ESFA firmware for Dell EMC P043S3T8(Samsung PM1643)

Hello everyone,

I recently picked up a few DELL EMC SSDs from the local used market and could really use some help.
The drives are labeled as P043S3T8 EMC3840, which are actually Samsung PM1643 3.84TB enterprise SAS SSDs.
They were most likely pulled from a Dell Unity storage system.

The issue is that all of them are still running on the older ESF6 firmware.
As many of you probably know, this version has the notorious "32k power-on hours bug," which I’d really like to avoid.
From what I’ve been able to find, the fixed/latest firmware version for this model should be **ESFA**.

So here’s my request:
- Does anyone happen to have the ESFA firmware binary file?
- Or maybe a Unity firmware bundle that has already been successfully unpacked?
- Or even just a reliable source/link where I could download it?

If you’re able to share or point me in the right direction, I’d really appreciate it.

I also have a couple of that drives P043S3T8 EMC3840 with ESFA firmware
is the version ESFA without the bug?

i don't have a firmware file. but maybe can it be dumped from the drive?

From what I’ve found, ESFA is indeed the latest firmware for this SSD and it’s supposed to fix the earlier issues.
I’ve also been wondering if it’s possible to dump the ESFA firmware directly from the drive,
but so far I haven’t come across a clear method to do it.
If you know anything about that, I’d really appreciate your input.
