Seeking Solution to Clear/Reset SMART Data on Dell EMC 3.84T

Hello Everyone,

I am looking for a reliable and safe solution/utility to **clear or reset the SMART counters** on one or more **Dell EMC 3.84TB SAS SSDS**.

Specifically, I need to reset the wear- leveling count, write amplification factor, or any counter related to the remaining drive life/endurance, as the current values are high.

These are enterprise-class SAS drives, and standard consumer tools do not work.

**Could anyone please advise on:**

1. **Specific Dell EMC or third-party utilities** that can interface with the controller to perform a full reset (often called a 'Manufacturer Reset' or similar).

2. **Known solutions** for common Dell EMC drive models in this capacity range (e.g., those using Samsung PM1643/PM1645a controllers, or others).
