CompactFlash, SD, MMC, USB flash storage. Anything that does not have moving parts inside.

xtal change fixed it!

A one gig cheapo usb pen drive appeared to be dead.
I tried resoldering everything but was still dead.
Out of curiosity I decided to change the 12 mhz crystal and voila drive came to life.
I suppose I should have put a scope on it beforehand. Next time I will.

Glad you got it fixed. Actually, the crystal is probably by far the most shock-sensitive part on these. Some use ceramic resonators, which are much more durable.

Greeting From Amarbir ,Hi ,Yup Next Time Remember That the Crystal is the heart of this person ,If it Pumps Blood then Only the MCU Works ,Bad Soldering and Dry soldering Is Also a Major Issue
