CompactFlash, SD, MMC, USB flash storage. Anything that does not have moving parts inside.

I have a problem and after researching it I have found this cool forum
I have a 8 gig SD card that I am using on a wince 5 hardware and it has to be FAT and of course it refuses due to the 4 gig fat limit
and will only format to Fat32
now i have investgated Tfat and exFAT and come to the devide the sd into 2 sections, but what I can't do is work out how
I am investgating a hacked version of fdisk that is dos based and using a dos usb driver, but wondered if anyone knows
a way to do this that is a little more traditional and not kinda a hack/ bodge ?

Use commercial partioning software to create a large FAT partition, such as Paragon.

I tried norton but it said no way I will get a copy of Paragon and give it a go
