I recorded freedos with mhdd and other programs on a USB flash drive. Then I booted from the flash drive and executed 'erase', 'hpdmbr' in the mhdd for my hitachi hdd. MHDD was unable to access the hitachi hdd. But when I pulled the flash drive and rebooted the computer, the flash drive was no longer readable. Different programs for working with flash drives do not recognize the flash drive, or give a read/write error or access is denied. When connected to windows, linux is not mounted, there is no drive letter, it is not formatted with console commands (read/write error). Where to buy a cheap USB flash drive and hard drive?

... USB flash drive...

I had can restore on USB: Boot sector , FAT  tables, create partition and format in fat32-windows using tide prodram in dos.
But usb not mounted in windows and linux still.
Also, I can now use Linux commands that did not work at all before:mkfs, fdisk,
but using command "dd if=/dev/zero", disk[4Gb] have rewritable 1,9Gb only.
In which program can I set the attributes of the USB?

Did you try diskpart in Windows (list disk, select disk n, clean, create partition primary, etc.)?
If it does not work, use ChipGenius to identify controller chip and look for specialized utilities (MPTool and such) if available.
