Is it possible the image is partially decrypted? Meaning full decryption had been selected but interrupted before it was completed.

Maybe you could start with a freshly imaged drive, run the Truecrypt recovery boot disk/tools and select full decryption.

No, I've tried fully decrypting a new clone from the TrueCrypt rescue disk and the result is the same, the drive isn't bootable and most files are missing. It looks like the dd backup stopped backing up useful data after a certain point. Please see attached for an R-Studio screenshot.

So I'm thinking the dd backup is useless and will need to go back to looking for solutions with the original drive.

I'd like to confirm which PC-3000 products are needed to get the data cloned onto a new drive. Do I need all 3?

Yes, you need all 3 to handle imaging SSDs with firmware issues. As PC3000 licenses are non transferable, it is a huge price to pay for a single drive which might not be recoverable.
