TerraNova,

I have just got it. The product is really worthy, they make updates often, I think it will be complete soon. I like it! :D

Scratchy,
Do you mean vendor SD? Or Micro? If SD Micro, then I think no one can support them  they are too small. If it works, PC-3000 Flash can read it, but it's impossible I guess to recover data from it.

As long as the NAND chip is visible you can recover it

There's no TSOP NAND chip in these, so regular solutions won't work :-(

I'm also seeing a lot of full size SD cards with half or quarter size sealed units inside, no way that I can see of recovering.... yet ;-)

Unfortunately, damaged microSD and miniSD can't be recoverd, because they have dropped controller and nand chip.
Btw, you may read about supported controllers and chips (by PC3K for Flash) in this site:

I have plenty of them, it would be great if SD are supported soon

If you mean SD cards they contain typical TSOP-48 NAND chips in 90% of cases. You can read it in reader. But if you mean mini&microSD cards, unfortunately I don't think that will be supported at the nearest time, because nanotechnology is very difficult thing! :D
You may tell to customer: Never, never use this nasty cards!

But still customers bring these nasty cards!

Anybody used the update of PC3000 yet?

Yes, I have used new update of PC3K flash. It's really powerful update. I was wondered, because there are many new functions, automatic functions!!! I've tried to solve all my old cases, and 4/9 of cases has been solved succesfully!! I love flash drives! It's easier than HDD's...

I agree with Money Fan, cuz it's really good update. I have this tool and I can say only one thing: ACE are really professionals of DR equipment. I think that Russian really very clever people!

I am not optimistic about it - PC3000FLASH, because of its lack of open technology. So I must rely on the escalation of ACE.
I am more optimistic about the BVG tools FRT. It is a professional data recovery people choice.
If you choose a fool-operation tools, is pleased, you are wrong, because you have become a slave of ACE.
I say this, do not intend to offend anyone!

Sorry, but you are absolutely wrong. I disagree with you. I have solved many cases using PC3K Flash and I think that there are so much possibilities(auto and manual), but of course if you are not professional and your controller not consists in database, you have only one way - take suggestions from their technical support.
If you want say to all that BVG tool is good it's lie.
I heard this phrase in the another topic: "I am more optimistic about the BVG tools FRT. It is a professional data recovery people choice. " Are you sales manager from BVG?

Some facts about BVG tool:
- speed of reading NAND chips - 1Gb per 11 min! it's VERY slowly!
- you must buy HRT. Why?????
- VERY poor manuals
My conclusion - BVG is very retarded tool from russian students

I agree with Creator.
Have same tool. and works really fine. Also we can see major updates in very small interval of time.

(Creator Pm me. I want to discuss some issue with You.)

Now I know exactly what you mean! Had a few in myself now :-(

Just starting to get use to PC3K Flash, I like the automation but would prefer to know manual operations. Halfway through the manual now, lots of info here!!!

You are right, manual is a primary thing. I had read it, not so big, but there are many info about mixes, and nothing info about algorithms of controllers. I think it's patented information  For manual operation (removing mixes) neccessary things are: brain, fingers, eyes, and knowledge about FAT ! It's easy. But I love too automatic modes in the PC3K flash!!! :D Yeeeahh!

Post subject:  Re: PC3000 Flash anyone got it?

Today I had two cases. One of them (with USBest) was very quickly solved using autodeterminating mixes and then autodetect algorithm. Several attempts, and I had result! Customer was wondered, because I've recovered pictures with his child. But second case with Sandisk SD 512Mb has not been solved... :( Is anybody knows how to recover Sandisk? :|
