I would like to share few thought about this product, it may be useful to other who are thinking of getting it:
PC3000 Flash is a well built unit, no doubt, however there are a few disappointing points about this unit:
1. Lack of updates, it seems the developer only 1 or 2 guys. I don't think ACE will be able to catch up with the current flash updates if they have this stupid mindset.
2. Lack of supports, only 1 person dealing with flash issues, this is completely out of their mind.
3. Must pay for software updates, where do this come from? every year we must pay for 700 euro for software updates and technical support?
The question is, do you need this flash recovery? The answer is YES if you have a high volume of flash drives per week, else forget it.
I do not have SD Flash, but few things which are very appealing to me about SD Flash:
1. FREE UPDATES for life.
2. Supports are much better, i think SD Flash is catching up considering all flash controller manufacturers are based in China, and as you all know, info about new controller is easy acquired by SD (by hook or crook
). Whereas PC3000 flash will take longer time to decode a new controller, not to mention a single player developer.I think SD or Softcenter will outsell PC3000 flash in near future.
